Next week, 2008 vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin will be interviewed as her new book "Going Rogue" is released. As you may remember, last year Sarah Palin was chosen by Presidential candidate John McCain to add a little something different to the ticket just as Barack Obama added a little something different to the ticket for his party. But what may not be known is the overall power behind the pick. When the governor of Alaska was chosen to serve as McCain's vice presidential pick, there was a dynamic in the works that he, or the Republicans that had a role in that decision did not see. Palin's strong points is not only her good looks, but Her ability to tell the truth and connect to the American people.
Hating Those who Tell it Like it Is:
When Sarah Palin was introduced as the pick for vice president, the media all of a sudden began hurling insults at her, and began hating her. Why? Because she is a regular person like us, and relates to us via her experience. That gives her an edge that Obama can never have because Obama grew up wealthy, attended elite schools, and entered into a political system that practically raised him because of his speaking abilities. That is it. Obama can never relate to the American people the way Sarah Palin can, because she has the the golden nerve that can wake people up who work for a living and talk to them as the people that they really are. That is why she is hated amongst not only the liberal Democrats, but also the liberal, wishy washy "Republicans" who have the same selfish desires to stay in power that the liberal Democrats have right now. Sarah Palin is down to earth. She embodies everything that that the spoiled, arrogant Democrats and snooty upscale Republicans hate. She is a regular person who can identify with you and me, regular Americans who have to work to pay our bills, and work to make money to buy the things we have and such and so forth.
When She Speaks, People Listen:
I have heard Sarah Palin speak and she ignites a fire that is unique and inspiring. She boldly communicates, speaks it the way it is, and adds the moral element to every person she talks to treating them like they have a soul. The power hungry politicians in Washington are pursuing their selfish ambitions with a tunnel vision type mentality. But in order to do the things that they want to do, it requires that they take away (note that---TAKE AWAY) from the American people to be able to acquire what they want (note that--WANT) for themselves. This isn't governing. This is TAKING AWAY. When the government takes away your money (via taxes), you have less freedom to do what you want to do, go where you want to go, and enjoy life. You always have to worry about making ends meet and budget sharply so that you can be able to make ends meet. And yet, as we are working feverishly to try and make ends meet, the government imposes more taxes on businesses and more taxes on us, all so that thry can get what they want for themselves. That's not governing! That's saying, "you are the work horses, and you work for me." Such a mindset is a referendum as to what they think of people. People are workhorses to them and they don't have to worry about anything because they are shielded away from us, and are well enough to do not to care. I'm telling you, there is something about this woman and she really cares. She raises concerns that actually say, "wait a minute. These people are more than work horses. They are people with God-given rights, cares, responsibilities, and for goodness sakes, they have souls, children with souls, and loved ones, friends, and relatives with souls who are affected negatively by the soulless greed of big government."
Two Perspectives in Washington:
When you have had all you could ever want at your disposal, it is human nature to take it for granted. If you were raised in money, grew up with money, and had to work for very little, you are going to take what you have for granted. This is one of the reasons why kids (not all, but too many in my opinion) whose parents pay for their colleges do poorly. They take what they have for granted. When you work for what you have, when you always remember how you felt when you had a tough time making the bills and struggled to make ends meet, and you consider that before you make a decision in regards to people who are actually experience that at the moment, then you will have the moral imperitive to remember that to make it easier for others. Right now there are too many who lack the moral elements to realize this. One group of people want what they want for their own personal political careers, and are going forward in their pursuits, trampling over the people under them (you and me, their bosses) in the process, and there are those who are trying to actually say, "wait a minute. Stop! You're treading over others, and that's wrong." Palin seems to have that edge, and every time I hear her talk, she always ignites a fire in my soul.
You may wonder what is the point in me writing this article. Oh, plenty, and you will see it very soon. There are numerous dynamics at play and as time goes on, you will see them as you experience the actions done by the current politicians whose mindsets are one of the two I mentioned earlier, and who pursue their own selfish ambitions without any moral regard for people whatsoever. Stay tuned.
