People love their freedoms. People like having the ability to choose for themselves how they want to live, what activities they choose to participate in, and how they want to retire. This is called "the pursuit of happiness.” When people have their own ability to choose for themselves their destiny, they have Liberty. The Declaration of Independence was a revolutionary document that chronicled the frustrations that the colonists had with the King of England and it sought to form a system opposite of his tyranny. As such, it fought for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Now, some 233 years later all of that is in critical in danger as a new tyrannical system waits in the wings to take it all away from you, only to distribute it primarily amongst themselves and those whom they can corrupt into joining them.
Taking away your freedoms is not going to be an easy task. I remember in the 1980’s an episode of “Circle Square,” a Christian children’s program that had a special program against child abuse. In one of the scenes, a young girl refused to eat the peas on her plate because she didn’t like them. Her mother than pulled her by the hair, took a handful of peas and then shoved them into her daughter’s mouth, leaving her in tears. These rabidly evil politicians will try and do whatever they can to shut you up and force you to swallow what they want you to swallow. They have no fear of being held accountable to you (the rightful bosses of them), God, or anybody else. They are in a position to try and do whatever they want to do whenever they want to do it.
And people voted for this…..
In their pursuit to get what THEY WANT rather than work to get what YOU NEED, the Democrats will hatch up schemes to shut you up. Dick Durbin, Nancy Pelosi, and others have claimed that the Republican Party is infiltrating these Townhall Meetings and calling the media over to cover them.
Dick Durbin said on August 3rd, 2009, “These health insurance companies and people like them are trying to load these town hall meetings for visual impact on television. They want to show thousands of people screaming ‘socialism’ and try to overcome the public sentiment, which now favors health care reform. That’s almost like flooding the switchboards on Capitol Hill. It doesn’t prove much other than the switchboards have limited capacity, so we want to have a balanced approach that allows members of Congress to hear both sides of the story, rather than be sucker-punched, or sidetracked by these tactics.”
Nancy Pelosi said in an interview on Fox TV in San Francisco on August 6th, 2009, “This initiative is funded by the high end; we call it AstroTurf, it's not really a grass-roots movement. It's AstroTurf by some of the wealthiest people in America to keep the focus on tax cuts for the rich instead of for the great middle class.”
The tactics they are suggesting are petty. The tactics they are suggesting are exactly WHAT THEY DO when they seek to try and mobilize support for something they want. We saw this for years pertaining to the War in Iraq and the War on Terror, even when a majority of Americans were in favor of both. Why else would the Democrats suggest this, if they didn’t actually use these tactics themselves? Also, for those who may have fallen a sucker to this propaganda, Democrat Senator Ben Cardin was on a Fox show talking to Jane Skinner saying…
SKINNER: Some call this manufactured anger. I think the House Speaker called it Astroturf, meeting fake grass roots.
CARDIN: In the town hall meeting I had, that was not the case. People have strong views about health care reform. The overwhelming majority of Americans want to participate. They want to know how it affects them, and what it will do with their health insurance through what it will do with their health care costs.
Those are legitimate questions. I hope that those few people who might try to be disruptive understand that the overwhelming number of people want to get the information.
These Democrats cannot even keep their lies in order. Nancy Pelosi went as far as trying to discredit opposition to Obama’s health care plan by equating those who oppose it to Nazis and other hate-groups. Pelosi stated, “I think they are Astroturf … you be the judge. They’re carrying swastikas and symbols like that to a town meeting on health care.” Oh, they are? When an individual lies in this fashion, it is a blow to his credibility. When power lies in this fashion, it causes danger and reaps consequential results.
Unions, Racism, and Freedom:
On August 7th, I was watching “Your World With Neil Cavuto,” and on his program he had an African-American man by the name of Kenneth Gladney. Kenneth was selling flags that said “don’t treat on me” at a Tea Party in St. Louis. For anyone familiar with the Don’t Tread on me slogan, it was the slogan used by our Founding Fathers in mobilizing a grassroots movement against the tyrannical King of England when he tried to impose his policies over the American colonies. Anyway, Mr. Gladney was confronted by a Union official (a member of SEIU—an organization that Obama has strongly supported), was called the N-word, and then was physically attacked, as posted on this YouTube video…

Now, adding even more fuel to the fire, the SEIU website has conveniently posted their version of this video, but edited it just enough to work in coordination with the propaganda they are posting on their webpage.

To put it in a nutshell, hatred and chaos are erupting in order to protect a bill that is evil and riddled with corruption, and justifying it by tying in your health. I got news for you. Do you know why the union member attacked that man who tried to sell “Don’t Tread on Me” flags? Hugh Hewitt revealed it on his August 7th, radio program. Unions, schoolteachers, and other members who are loyal to the Democrats, connected to the government, get to be exempt from the health care plan Obama seeks to push on all the rest of us. They will get the best, and the rest of us regular people (including regular people who voted for him) will get the scraps. Sarah Palin was right when she called it evil. It is evil in every sense of the word.
