Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit spiritual symbolism

I just finished the last three of the hobbit movies. I've watched the first three of the Lord of the rings and one of the things that I just find very fascinating is this good versus evil in the movies. The evil can be so overwhelming and overcoming in the movies you think that there's no way that the good will win but in the end the good does win. In the same way in the life of a Christian sometimes it seems like the evil far outweighs the good but if we continue on and don't give up on our faith in Jesus we will find out on the other end that he will win out not only in this life but in the next life to come. Just some thoughts I had
