This message board was launched on June 1st, 2004. This board was designed to attract those who want to discuss politics, religious discussion, Entertainment, health, and psychology.
Politics:
Choosing Sides?
I used to think that the only differences between Republicans and Democrats were on taxes and abortion. I was naïve. When I started following politics, which then spun-off an interest in history, (which spun-off an interest in researching Communism), something was exposed. The more I saw the resemblance between liberals (and not all Democrats are liberals) and Communist strategy, the more the bigger picture was revealed. It was not pleasing. When listening to Democrats, they would recall what someone would normally take their word as history. It was not history. The more I researched History, and the more Democrats would give their rendition, the more I saw them as foolish liars, or learning impaired individuals who represented the country, yet didn’t know their own history. I understood and still understand Democrats on the domestic level, but I wouldn’t use their “trust everyone” attitude, especially when we have powerful enemies salivating at the thought of our demise.
If there was a Democrat that was pro-life, pro-Constitution, pro-family, and so on, and they were not putting on a front for political gain, I may trust them. Zell Miller is that kind of man. I personally like Governor Rod Blagojevich in Illinois, because even though he is a Democrat, he constantly pisses off the Illinois liberals, especially Mayor Daley of Chicago. In other words, we need another Truman, but we will probably never get one because we have the 60’s hippie Socialist utopians running the Democrat Party now.
On matter of the constitution, I noticed that our founding fathers, through experience, experienced tyranny and religious oppression under the nutty ruler of England. The Constitution was designed so that the oppression that they experienced would not happen again. I see now, that it is a lot weaker today than it was in the late 1700’s, and liberals are to thank for it. Liberals try to interpret the Constitution or wordings of the Constitution to fit their own ambitions. It’s like shoving a piece of a puzzle that just doesn’t fit, but looks deceiving enough to sort of work. If the Constitution was designed for interpretation, it would be garbage because interpretation could lead to a return to oppression, and in some ways, it has.
My mission, in the corner of politics is to engage in debate (where Democrats would yell, call people names, and change the subject), use history in its original context, through my own personal research, and hold up liberal beliefs to the fire. If they have a strong case politically, they will survive. If not, they will crumble and fall. If I have a strong case, I will survive, and if I don’t, I will fall.
Religious Discussion and Topics:
My interest in religious discussion has empowered my personal faith. By debating people (including confident, self-professed atheists, with the exception of at least one who came to Christ), I figured that if Jesus Christ was not the only way to salvation, then it would not survive the fire. Every day, and through every debate, I’ve noticed how Christianity has always survived the fire, amid the attacks, the destruction, and the attempt to silence it for the past 6,000+ years. The point is to hold religious beliefs to the fire, as well as entice people to challenge me. I love a challenge.
Entertainment: (Television and Film)
I have always loved television, radio, and movies. As an editor of shows like Married With Children, ALF, Sanford and Son, Sanford, Benson, Webster, The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour, Chico and the Man, Davey and Goliath, and others, I thought that a detailed research account would be terrific for fans of those shows. Although some of my shows do not have history accounts, it was developed as a springboard to launch my opinions regarding TV shows, movies, and other things that pertain to entertainment.
Psychology and Health:
The psychology forum was designed to help people who are seeking help. All of my articles are designed to give people confidence, a sense of understanding, and so on, to help them in every day life. Psychology was my favorite subject in high school, and if you could have someone who was very observant of everything, and has had a lot of experience dealing with people and attitudes of them, I thought I would offer something to someone who did not have the privilege of getting sound advice for nothing. The health forum was designed to provide information that is not always available to the general public.
Holidays:
Around the holidays, my mission is to revive the historical intents and reasons why we celebrate holidays. Whether it is Christmas, Easter, St. Patrick’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, and so on, I figured that it would be neat if a detailed history was provided for those thirsting for answers as to why and how the holidays we celebrate today came to be, and how and why they were intended to benefit us.
I could not do all of this without you. You guys come here, get informed, or have fun. That is what this board is designed for. It is your reliable source for news, faith, entertainment, psychology and health. As we start our second year, I want you to know that we enjoy being a part of your daily lives, and hope to continue to do so for years to come.
Thank you, and enjoy the goodies yet to come.
Yours Truly,
Rob W. Case
