People are for sale. People are for sale in many different aspects. Some people are for sale to elevate themselves. Others are for sale to avoid possible controversy due to situations that could incriminate them. These are ways of the world, and they have occurred since man’s fall from grace. When people are bought, no more questions enter the equation. It ends at one person’s personal satisfaction. In this sense of satisfaction, there lie the concerns as to who suffers at the hands of the very people who are for sale. The answer is, too many.
There is much to say about power. When one acquires power, people tend to try to gain favor with power so as to prosper by the favor from them. Those who cannot reach that very level of favor in most instances end up short. In many levels, the people who do not have the favor of personal power end up being taken advantage of, or worse. There are ways in which power will say it is for those who they are in charge of, but the truth does not reflect so. In politics, some will claim that the power entrusted to power by the people will be used for the people. When genuine solutions to the problems that are presented to them are evident, then you know that power was on your side. If problems persist (due to tempting draws, like entitlements, that promise to benefit you) or worsen then you will know that the “remedies” were only intended to keep your favor towards them and not really solve any problems.
Some people will never see their problems solved in their lifetimes. Too many will be discouraged to take action since the hope of fixing a broken system will appear impossible to do. But again, this is the way of the world.
How Much Are you Worth to Power?
As a regular person, how much are you worth to power? As a voter, how much are you worth to those you elect? If the will of a lobbyist can overshadow your will, then what are you worth to the people you elect? This question is very deep and should be considered carefully.
How Much Are you Worth to Other People?
It’s true; people think people are cheap. People who may seek companionship or love from others are sometimes seen by others as an inconvenience, or an irritation. Some people in the eyes of some are only worth the price tag of the fulfillment to their carnal desires. Some people are worth a lot to each other, but not unconditionally. People aren’t always available or in the mood to be everything to everybody all hours of the day.
How Much Are you Worth to God?
This is a completely interesting matter entirely? One must wonder, how much are you worth to God? The answer is thought-provoking. You are worth as much as the life of his son, the creator of the earth. As we have all done things to separate ourselves from him, he has done something to remove the wall of separation. This “wrecking ball” that is designed to remove this wall is available to all, but one must come to him as an individual to get it.
This “wrecking ball” is Jesus Christ. Only if you accept Christ as your savior can you break the wall of separation because only by his perfect son’s sacrifice can you be seen as perfect when you stand before the Lord. God has the ability to forget sins. But the only way is to come to him, confess them, have a willingness to turn from them, and in that ask him to come into your heart. Without that, your hell would be determined by how you treated others, how your decisions affected them, and how they affected you.
God has great things destined for you. He is the one and only source that gives people worth and value. He values you, whereas people may not. He wants you, whereas some people do not. He considered you before he sent his son to die for you. Nobody on earth would do that.
