Have you ever went somewhere and you were stuck with a problem that is now unavoidable but was once avoidable?
This section is designed to make the avoidable just that; avoidable.
Case in point: In 2005 we took our dog to the vet. She had anemia, and was gravely ill. Her blood count was at 12-14 (and the normal is in the 40's.) I then came across an article that was posted on the vet's bulletin board entitled, "When Food Scraps are Toxic." The article mentioned that onions are toxic to dogs, and I remembered that I was feeding my dog large chunks of onions when I was making a hamburger. We had asked the vet if they could Xerox a copy of the article for us, and they did. I then got to thinking, "how many people are really aware of what not to feed their pets?" I had not known, but wish I had.
This section is committed to passing out knowledge that tries to reduce the "I wish I had known that before" syndrome.
Anyone can post here, so if there is something you would like to share that may be useful, you are more than welcome to post it here.
The Useful Information Section is open to everything. Whether or not you have some information regarding pet care, remedies, automobile maintenance, etc. Heck, even if you want to show us how to plan a Birthday Party for under $20.00 we will accept anything.... so long as it is, in fact, useful and in good taste.
So, be on the lookout for our Useful Information posts. Thank you, and Enjoy, --Rob W. Case
