In judging the political climate these last two years there is one dynamic in particular that I would like to focus on, that speaks volumes, and transcends all other appeals from the many politicians pandering for your vote, and that is this; There has been more constructive and productive work done in these last two years to benefit workers, entrepreneurs, and unemployed people than has been done in a very long time. In fact, what is happening in the country right now, would have never happened, nor would have ever been attempted if Hillary Clinton won the 2016 election. This is not difficult at all for any objective person paying attention to see why.
Where we Came From:
When Barack Obama was in the process of closing his presidency, the state of the country was a real mess. But it was a mess that the Washington political machine (which spent over $700 billion) working in unison with Obama, tried to convince people was not really a mess at all, but was something good, and that we needed more of it. I mean sure we got a litany of promises and tremendous upselling of some very meager job gains, but most of what Obama did, did not benefit most Americans, particularly in middle America, and cost all of us more than it ever had before, while placing the needs of the United States behind, in priority, to the goals and ambitions of the United Nations, the European Union, as well as international financial institutions.
Where we Are:
When Trump took office, he placed the United States, its interests, and the interests of the American people people as his top priority, and has fought hard for America not to be taken advantage the most of in the face of the international community. Trump’s policies put more of the hard earned money we make back into our pockets, and he has worked effortlessly to create more jobs to put money into the pockets of those who need it, while trying to do what he can do to try to keep costs low and stimulate the economy. And while other nations might not love us, they definitely respect us, and respect, when it really comes down to it, is all that matters.
The Hurdles We Face:
The nation has improved on many levels than at the point we were two years ago, but there is billions of dollars being spent by a well-oiled political machine. What's scary about this machine is that it seeks the counsel of psychologists, neuroscientists, and political scientists to craft narratives, form new ways of spinning data, and work effortlessly to suppress facts to form an incredibly high tech PR effort that can make palatable unethical, lying, corrupt people into viable political candidates, while over bombarding us with acidic negativity about those changing the nation for the better, with the ambition to eclipse all of the good news coming out in hopes to discourage turnout from those benefitting, and encourage turnout from those who buy into the PR efforts.
And yet, after the political machine serves its purpose, after people have made their decisions, and it shuts down, people are left to their own devices, and the ramifications of their decisions, whether good or bad. And until that machine is restarted and working again, we have to pay close attention to what is really happening, and not get “lost” in the heavy and windy “sandstorm” of noise, lies, schemes, and deceptions that are meant to cloud our vision of what is truly happening, and give us over to a state of confusion. Such confusion will throw us back into the hands of those always on the offensive against our better interests and reinstate everything that we so desperately needed change from two years ago (a super powerful federal government that virtually weaponized its institutions to punish those who opposed it, generated a weak economy that created massive job loss, increased welfare to record heights, and caused costs to rise exponentially in areas that greatly affect us personally). What’s interesting also is that this time around, in the House of Representatives particularly, Nancy Pelosi, if the Democrats should win, would be poised to be the Speaker again, and if we recall how she handled the last two years of the Bush administration, the Democrats basically ransacked the Federal Government and created a hell all around that took 4 years to finally extinguish. Do we really want to live through that again, and even worse? That is the essence of what this mid-term election is all about.
