Some have said he's afflicted with NPD, Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Some say Malignant Narcissism. He's got multiple disorders overlaying other mental disorders.
What kills me is what disorder describes someone who just can't simply disagree, but has to actually call names, disparage and scour someone he disagrees with. Why can't he say something like "I disagree with Mr. Smith....", instead of what he invariably does and says something like "Mr. Smith is a cacadoodie head and he stinks".
What is that?

Some have said he's afflicted with NPD, Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Some say Malignant Narcissism. He's got multiple disorders overlaying other mental disorders. What kills me is what disorder describes someone who just can't simply disagree, but has to actually call names, disparage and scour someone he disagrees with. Why can't he say something like "I disagree with Mr. Smith....", instead of what he invariably does and says something like "Mr. Smith is a cacadoodie head and he stinks". What is that? For so many years, we have heard from, and have been at the mercy of narcissistic politicians at every level of government who believe that they hold the “moral high ground” in every area imaginable. In essence many of these people have proven themselves to be corrupt and deaf to the interests and laments of Americans hurt by their bad policies. Most Americans have seen the U.S. weaken itself in order to strengthen other countries that are not our friends (paying Russia $700 billion to build army helicopters instead of having them built here, or that idiotic Iran nuclear deal immediately springs to mind), while suffering the consequences of being saddled with a record debt, welfare and food stamps raised to record numbers, and that’s just for starters. I am not going to even touch on all of the upheaval and chaos brought on by very bizarre social policies (with complicated and burdensome transgender accommodations) and all of that.
Then Trump came along, and vowed to change all that. And it’s in his approach and his use of the art of the insult that would capture the headlines, and in an entertaining way bring attention to the substance at hand. On the surface it sounds ignorant, because ignorant people normally resort to name calling and insulting people, but Trump’s method of branding led people to an even greater truth in so few words (like why did Trump call Jeb Bush “low energy”), and thus appealed to those disaffected by the many years of deaf ears, blind eyes, wimpiness and capitulation (especially on the part of the establishment Republicans), appeasement, and reckless policies all by people who believe to hold the moral high ground. In other words, if you followed politics, you knew exactly what he was talking about, and it resonated with you. And if you didn’t follow politics, you might want to know why he was saying these things, find out, and in finding out, seeing what he meant and having that speak to and possibly resonate with you. For example, to anyone who followed the career of Hillary Clinton, it was very clear and obvious for decades that she was extremely corrupt from the get-go. Only a highly corrupt culture in Washington D.C. could (and did) gloss over her questionable dealings, and conduct, protect & defend her, and promote her as if she actually cared about the country and the very people she clearly had contempt towards. And if or when there was an actual threat posed by somebody to exposing a damaging truth about her, someone would end up dead. Then Trump came out and connected her ongoing shadiness to her name by calling her “crooked Hillary” and as he called her “crooked Hillary” some shady thing would come out about her, either reminding or informing people of what type of person she really is, and that would turn people off. And while the media was trying to upsell her, in light of Trump’s branding, something suspicious would be exposed that was deliberately being suppressed by the media (like Wikileaks exposing all of the emails showing collusion between high profile folks in the media and chairman of the Hillary 2016 campaign, John Podesta in controlling what they want people to see and hear about Clinton in the “mainstream media”) that would force people to question whether or not they could trust her to govern the country, and why.
Trump’s use of the insult has, in an entertaining and confrontational way, taken on and called out narcissists in Washington D.C. who regularly disregard the interests and cares of the American people. It has brought officials in the highest ranks of the political class "down to earth", and removed them from their "high ground." It speaks and draws attention to what many people are thinking anyway, but might not necessarily speak about it openly. These people who believe that they hold the "moral high ground" are people who hate the view that America is an exceptional nation, that the concept of freedom is special, and hate the idea of America being a superpower. They believe that the U.N., not the United States should govern world affairs (which we should be submissive to), and that (by deliberately straining the U.S. economy) we hard working Americans should be forced to make do with much less. These things are not what people win campaigns on, so they work real hard and pour billions of dollars in amassing campaigns to get people to think a certain way so that democracy conforms to the direction of the line of thinking being promoted that leads to the outcome of choosing the one personality promising to accommodate it.

He's a 70something year old man that acts and talks like a teen middleschool girl. That can't be right no matter how much you try to shine that nuts turd there's something wrong there. Not to mention his pathological lying, his incredibly thin skin. In short he suffers from Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Look it up and see how well it matches what we see from Drumpf. His symptoms aren't mild either, they are quite pronounced. So where it might describe an excessive need for admiration with Drumpf that can be described as an extremely excessive need for admiration. Take the description(s), and amp them up to 10's regarding Drumpf. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narcissistic_personality_disorder . There is also another description not part of an official diagnostic called "malignant narcissist". en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malignant_narcissism . Along with other disorders he has. I think he has ADD, or ADHD. His reading and his writing. You got anyway to shine that nuts turd? Not good when that is your president.

I think he's getting worse mentally. I think he's going insane actually. There are some who think he has contracted syphilis in his younger days and it's eating certain brain lobes away in his head. It certainly holds with what we're seeing with him.

I suggest you look in a mirror, bostondave. I happen to agree with everything that Rob wrote, and can elaborate to include many many members of the Washington swamp. That includes Shifty Schiff, Chuck Shumer, Nancy Pelosi, etc. And then we get into the state governments where "You give them an inch and they take a mile" seems to be the truth. Examples: Stacy Abrams, Andrew Cuomo, Governor Newsome, and many more.
